The eventlog check is done using WMI. Within the WMI
query we say "give the entries of the eventlog AFTER eventlog_entry_number", but
it sure looks like WMI is not doing this correctly....I'm afraid this is an WMI
issue not an SA issue...

Hi,
I think this has been brought up before by someone, but I don't think there was an answer. The eventlog check (external com check) appears to check the entire event log on every cycle. As this takes about 10 minutes, and I need to do it on about 25 servers, I've got a problem!
Am I doing something wrong?
