We get the list of counters from the remote registry, often you will get this
"element not found" when there is a problem with the index of counters within
the registry.
I know from one customer that he was able to solve that by forcing the
re-creating of this index (or by remove some of the counters), unfortunatly I
didn't take notes of that (he did point me to a KB article about it, so it has
to be somewere in the MS KB, I know that's probably not very usefull as the MS
KB has a huge number of articles)

What could be the problem? I don't have problem with the standard
perfmon app and even salive is able to locate specific HP EVA counter(s)
when editing a check and save it. The standard OS counters (Processor,
Memory etc.) work fine though. Problem is not credentials.
