It was added as a new "option" to the Status Summary output type.

One summary and one all down entries. Specifying a period of down for 1 minute. Then you must make a small hop of faith (note I did not use the term leap) that if the summary comes and the down does not then there is no down entries. Or we could wait for Dirk to create a new executive alert that sends when down or a note that says that no entries are down. I do see it as very useful to have a down alert or an alert that says everything is ok in one executive alert type. Perhaps a check box to send even if no down entries. Now I have either this or "something is wrong so SA cannot send mail", but I cannot know which of these. Obviously I did not read it correctly from the documentation, thinking "when to send" and "what entries" are independent. I am mainly interested in the DOWN entries in the morning, not the others. So I could have a dummy DOWN check scheduled for this time or send all entries - almost 1500. The SMTP logs did not show an attempt, but we can verify this once more with addressing the Exchange nodes instead of the load balancer. Servers Alive! Version 6.2.2279, as we are in transition from Win 2000 (VM) to Win 2003 (hardware) we have 2 different systems, but they both show this effect. The configuration (configuration file and registry entries) were transferred from the old to the new system. The system names and the sender mail-addresses are different. We tried to address our load balancer or the Exchange nodes directly, no difference. The Exchange admins tell me they cannot recognize anything in these cases.
