There *is* development going on, but Simon has a policy of not releasing it
until it's ready. Since neither the modified source nor the binaries are
being distributed this is not a GPL violation.

There's a lot of things in a program like SimCoupe which must necessarily
be written in a fairly system-specific way if they are to be done well. I'd
also like to voice my opinion that most of the people on this and other
groups who go on about how easy it is to keep ongoing projects in sync over
multiple platforms, have probably never actually tried it.

Heh, and don't I know it... I've said before that I'm very interested in
porting the new SimCoupe to MacOS, but there are other projects I also want
to do and I'm not exactly overwhelmed with free time. I also get the
impression that only about 5 people would ever use SimCoupe on the Mac, so
other things are likely to continue getting priority of my attention at
least until there's a stable source release.
