i tell you what i would like

a copy of the sam version of escape from the planet of the robot monsters,
where shooting the other player while on a ladder would cause it to crash.
and sam strikes back
i used to love those two games

i don't *think* i can see them in that ftp folder

is there any way of getting hold of them?
i still have the originals .. but the disks are corrupt now

Oh? What do they do when you boot from them? Are you booting them from
a freshly reset SAM? The SDF image files you're using should have a
size of exactly 983040 bytes (perhaps inside a zip file).

At least you've got one great game running :-)

The software link I have in the SimCoupé FAQ is to:
  ftp://ftp.nvg.ntnu.no/pub/sam-coupe/Good/SamCRen/

I /think/ that now only contains free stuff, or some commercial items
there's no longer any objection to making available. However, you
probably won't find many games you remember in there (as David
mentioned, we're waiting on Sam Community for some of those). There's
still a lot of excellent demo/utility/magazine images in there to try
out...
