I have no idea if it would cause a problem when the user is in the middle of doing some operation and then the lines of explorer and internet explorer are blurred so this may cause detection and/or update issues. As for calling it a samba bug vs windows bug. I actually believe it is a windows feature but that is for a different discussion... John
