Nico,

Try to create a standard email account in OE. Fill in as POP3 and SMTP your
mail server name xxx.xxx.com. As account the mailbox name.

When you use SMTP AUTH (you must, otherwise spam-relay), outlook asks for
password when sending mail (you can tick always remember)
