Duties & Responsibilites :

Strong Experience creating performance scripts for both the web and webservices protocols. Beyond that, the ability to troubleshoot, analyze and report results are also important, but not quite as much.

Required Skills:
- Design and execute test plans, scenarios and scripts, designed to measure performance and scalability.
- Analyze, review and present performance results with recommendations to development
- Work with development and functional QA teams to troubleshoot and improve identified performance bottlenecks.
- Assist with continued improvement of the performance testing process, including best practices around the Performance Center of Excellence.
- Document non-functional/performance related software defects, using a bug tracking system.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with scope and testing goals.
- Identify and drive the standards for high-quality test approach and execution parameters.
- Maintain a common documentation library of standardized processes and procedures.
- Cultivate, support, and promote an organizational culture that provides for high performance, high morale, integrity, and teamwork.
- Work with business representatives, IT Management, IT development, support teams and vendors to ensure on time, on budget, and quality delivery of testing deliverables.

Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required; advanced degree a plus.
- 8 or more years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience.
- 5 or more years of hands-on Performance Testing experience (HP LoadRunner/Performance Center).
- 1 or more years of scripting (SQL, _vbscript_, perl, shell, java, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate advanced technical issues both verbally and in writing to technical staff and management.
- Must be able to organize and prioritize workload in order to meet necessary deadlines.
- Able to make independent judgments/decisions within established guidelines.
- Have implemented standard processes, tools, and metrics to deliver large-scale projects from inception to conclusion that met quantifiable business objectives.
- Ability, desire and motivation to learn quickly and pick up new skills.
- Advanced knowledge of HP test tool suite (LoadRunner, PerformanceCenter, Quality Center, ALM) required.
- Working knowledge of scripting (Perl, XML, SQL, Unix shell, Microsoft Visual Basic, WSI) required.
- ITIL, Quality Assurance and Project Management certifications a plus.
- Prefer experience in successfully applying agile/scrum methodology to develop and execute software test plans. This role requires expert technical skills, including the ability to create, document and execute test strategies and test plans. This role will participate with other members of the Scrum team (developers, application specialists, product owners, etc) to design and deliver value-added product releases.
