Hi Guys, At the moment my Satchmo store is set up so I can select all the orders for a set period, create a4 printable invoices/packing slips with integrated labels.
I think print the invoice stick the label on the envelope and dispatch it. This system works fine but it's going to be quite costly as my orders increase, also the laser toner labels can smudge, I'm looking at a thermal printing option instead, it seems to be what the big boys such as Amazon use and is the most coft effective option. I want to be able to have Satchmo create invoice/labels that can be printed on 101 x 151 mm direct thermal labels using a Zebra desktop direct thermal printer or equivalent. Has anyone any experience in using direct thermal printers or know if it will be possible to do this? One of the problems seems to be direct thermal printers use strange languages EPL and ZPL which might make things messy. Any advice on this would be much appreciated.
