Hello all, When my store uses the PayPal payment module, what shipping and billing information does Satchmo send to PayPal? If the user doesn't already have a PayPal account, does PayPal use that information, or ask the user to enter it all again? If the user already has a PayPal account with shipping and billing information on file, does that information override what the user entered on the Satchmo checkout page? Are the two sets of information compared? Does PayPal feed its shipping and billing info back to Satchmo?
I plan to open a store using only PayPal and Google Checkout and not processing credit cards myself. I'm wondering whether I need to collect billing information on my checkout page at all. I certainly don't want to annoy my customers by making them enter a lot of unnecessary information. BTW, I would test some of this myself, but I have not yet been able to open a functioning PayPay Sandbox account. Every time I go through the process, I respond to the confirmation email and am told that the confirmation was successful, but the email address and password don't work. I go through the password recovery link and am told that PayPal doesn't even know the email address that I just registered! Has anyone else had this problem?
