i just ran into the saturday house yesterday. wired had an article on hackerspaces and i was determined to find one (or make one) in the seattle area. i was planning on coming by this weekend provided i can get someone to sponsor me. (hint hint) i have a small warehouse's worht of elctronic components at my house and have lots of idea with what to do with them however i would like to do something collaborative. as in my experience you always end up with something much cooler when you have more than one person working on the project. (although sometimes it leads to just twice the head ache). anyway it would be a shame for you guys to shut down before i even got to come out there...but i understand attendance plays a big role. for me collaboration makes thing much more interesting. the problem is i have a hard time finding people and a space in which to do that. so for me the saturday house sounds like the perfect place to find both. i know more than a couple people who would be as interested as i am in joining the group.
