yes, exactly i want to develop your system to can use other calendars :)
as i told you in private email, i developed serendipity (s9y.org) to support
Jalali calendar, and users can select their calendar from their control
panel.
as i see, i must do the following works:
- add two-three new functions for date (really NEW functions :) ) for Jalali
calendar and convertion between Jalali & Gregorian...
- develop your "format_date" function. this function should find which
LANGUAGE is selected and show the correct calendar. (default=gregorian)
for prob1, as i told above... i want to know which language is selected in
the "format_date" function :) my question is HOW can i find which language
selected?!
