Details:

I think a greal deal of website use font that are smaller than the default;
the default is indeed quite big, and unless you have few information to
display, text takes a lot of espace.



It may not be very visible using 1280*1024, but just switch to 800*600 (max on
my laptop) or 1024*768 and you can see the difference.



If all websites used the standard size, it is likely that browsers would have
decreased the default size. But this is not the case, and by the using the
default browser size, we are, actually, bigger than the "normal"/common
size.



Besides, I know of no browser that allow to remember the text size per site,
so if we tell the user to fix the size using his browserm, (s)he'll have to
switch the size each time he visits a Savane website.
