hi,
I am at yahoo!. We are considering using savane for an internal project here
at y!. I have installed savane and started playing with it. I have a few
questions
a) Why do you use the unix userid and unix group ids for userid/project id on
the system? I see that user info and group info is stored in mysql db. What
are the advantages/disadvantages of mapping them to a unique unix number?
b) Is there a way to auto approve all projects?
c) Is there a way i can check on the backend as an administrator to make sure
that everything is fine? I see a bunch of errors being spewed into apache
error logs. But where are the other errors logged (Scripts, databases etc)
thanks
-ravi
