I can't check right now, but here're some quick comments:
- PHP5 and the latest MySQL brings some incompatible changes which may
explain why you have troubles on your Gentoo/stable. I believe Savane
contains nothing specific to any distro, but depends on some specific piece
of software.
- try to monitor your Savane cookies and compare them with the one Gna! gives
you.
I should be able to make a few tests tonight.
