This package does not have any additional dependencies compared to Airtime, so I am unsure why just installing it would make the difference. Is it perhaps that you installed Precise but did not update it for bug fixes before attempting to install Airtime? If so, you may have run into this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php5/+bug/953081 apt-cache show libapache2-mod-php5 should show version 5.3.10-1ubuntu3 not 5.3.10-1ubuntu2. > One line change in your installer would fix this.
