for debugging, liquidsoap --debug ..... ?
In the meantime, I tried with Ubuntu 14.10 - I can confirm I get the same
issue with the liquidsoap ubuntu package
If I compile liquidsoap, vorbis works, but opus gets a different error:
Error while sending data: could not write data to host: Broken pipe in
write()!
I'd say liquidsoap in Ubuntu is broken for ogg at least
