Hi Conrad, This may simply be due to the scripts not completing execution within the Farm Role initialization timeout period. This timeout can be altered from the Farm Role> Advanced Tab as shown in the attached screenshot. Can you test increasing this value? If issues persist you will then need to look in to the agent logs on the instance to see what is preventing expected initialization. By the way, welcome to the Scalr Open Source community!
