Hi Conrad,

The first thing to look at will be the agent logs from one of these 
instances.  You will need to login and gather these before Scalr 
automatically terminates the instances.  You may need to increase the 
termination timeout even further to allow yourself enough time to log any 
issues, get in to the machine, and gather logs for examination.  Relevant 
logs are:

/var/log/scalarizr.log
/var/log/scalarizr_debug.log
/var/log/scalarizr_update.log
