The raw dirac stream format (.drc as you say) does not support any form of muxing. For a video editor, i suggest that you use the quicktime .mov file format (parts of this became isom/mp4) the .mov format is reasonably well defined, has the concept of dealing with multiple tracks, which can be of different formats, different rates, all of which can be positioned onto a timeline. Even better, the tracks actually support finding their data in an external location -- so every time you do an edit, you don't have to copy many gigabytes of data around. Eventually, when you want to 'publish' your work, it is normal to build up a single .mov file which has the required video and audio in it for easy distribution. have a look for qtff.pdf (quicktime file format specification) ..david ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Schrodinger-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/schrodinger-devel
