A bit. ;) But now that I know there is a bug somewhere and
my DB stays consistent at least it is not as shocking
anymore as at the first occurence...

Not when it is not necessary. In the case in question e.g.
90% of the games were "Nimzowitsch vs. someone", so I just
replaced someone all the time, searching the whole DB.
(Thats actually why I use "ignore colours": to save typing.)

Ok, I can try that the next time it happens.

Well, actually as I add a header field I use "Save Replace"
all the time. That is, once I found a game in my DB I open
"Save Replace" and add a line like

Ref "Nimzowitsch: Mein System, No. 12, p.27"

and hit save. Additionally I set a flag for this game. In
the case in question the "M" flag. Unfortunately the flags
are not in the save-dialog so this involves the RMB-menue in
the notification area.

"The error just described above occurs."

Besides closing and reopening the DB, are there any other
checks I can perform? As I currently use the cvs version
also adding some code there would be an option. I've some
books to add still, hence I've some material left. Therefore
if you've an idea how to nail it down, I'd be willing to
help here. One of the books is the Barmen Chess Congress
1905, and if the error occurs about every 100 searches that
one will offer some playground (actually the reason why I
did not add it yet).
