Thats ok I think, though you miss the best text setting
system on earth ;) Anyway, as far as I understood Willem
he's willing to look into that part in greater detail, and
Ulrich seems also to have a look at it, that it gets a
decent LaTeX2e output where no obvious faults exist. :)

I'm actually intersted in scid to be usable for producing
some LaTeX, but I'll not have the time to contribute in that
matter in the sense of real living code.

Well, XML is not really a format yet ;) Its just a way to
define one ;) As I tend to say: you want xml? hm, well, but
what XML?
