Removing moves until the end should always work. But there is a bug when
removing moves from the beginning and when pieces are translated : it is
fixed now.

I don't get any errors and it works for me. Can you provide a sample ? There
seems to be no error message like "Cannot strip the game" in Scid : can you
give the exact message ?

I remember of this one, and I don't remember the reasoning but my own
conclusion was "let it be" (there is an explanation I don't remember).

The game list does not suffice ? Could you precise this ?

This is the case under Windows. Under Linux, I never encountered problems
with engine's normal priority. Maybe we could remember latest CPU priority
setting, but I am really tired with the way Scid saves options (code is too
complex and error prone).
Again valunteers ?

This is work in progress, and so it was hidden in Scid 3.6.23 release. But
it is normal to have it available in CVS code.
I agree it should be made configurable through the toolbar display option
dialog.

Yes , I agree.

Can you give precisions ?

I had a TODO list for Scid with many items, but I lost my file a couple of
weeks ago(!). So I think it could be interesting to have a simple text file
at CVS root containing bug list and wishes : I commited an empty one called
"TODO".
