This function works for me. Could you send me the game in question and/ or
try with Scid 3.6.1 to see if you get the same problem ?

Really strange, it works for me. If you enter a dummy game in clipboard with
comments / vars, does it also fail ? Did you try to compact the base (just
to make sure it did not get corrupted) ?

The problem on Linux is that once you changed priority, you can't go back to
normal.
