Just my five cents. First of all I should say that I never used spell
checking in scid. Once I tried it and found that in many cases scid
did a wrong correction. I think that every scid correction should be
manually checked. Otherwise you easily get database with wrong game
info. That's why I guess that 2000 corrections per check is enough.
