I have no idea if it's even supposed to work. What you should do is: erase libevent-devel libevent-headers libevent-doc (if any of them are installed) install & enable postgresql 9.3 repo (write enabled=1 in repo file if needed) install "libevent-devel" You'll have libevent 2 and devel package installed after that, and libevent-1.4 should be replaced by compat-libevent14 automatically. -- Vladimir
