The present complaint is:
Creating Python environment
Python 2.7 or greater (but not Python 3) is required to build. You are
running Python 2.6.

I will start the merry chase again -- does anyone have a valid Python
for the above?
SL6 has python27 in 6rolling/testing
http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/6rolling/testing/x86_64/python27/
but I don't see the source as a starting point for SL5.
In earlier posts Yasha was trying to build for SL6. The 5.9 above
puzzled me.
