They had some that I enjoyed.  Not all masterpieces but enjoyable>  Did

5ive Days to Midnight, Farscape Peace Keeper Wars, Battlestar, Dune, 
Children of Dune, The Lost Room, Triangle

I watched Taken, but found it torturous  In my opinion, the Throwaway 
(barely watchable) mini-series were: The Legend of Earthsea, Dark 
Kingdom : the Dragon King,
