I had someone ask about a gotfocus and lostfocus ability. Now I see scintilla has it but the problem I've been running into is when I try to check for the wm_command message it crashes. It's ok on a SDI document and I'm able to detect the focus change just fine but in an MDI enviroment it crashes every time. I'm not entirely sure why. However I noticed that the vb form will still fire a gotfocus or lostfocus event even when scintilla's on there so my thinking is the easiest way to do it is just utilize the built in gotfocus and lostfocus that the forms have. Does this make sense or is there a flaw to this thinking? Thanks
