   Your application should get first look at all keys. That's how
SciTE can see all the keys in the menus. There is no extra way for
Scintilla to notify the container.

   Scintilla does send some WM_COMMAND notifications with EN_SETFOCUS
/  EN_KILLFOCUS equivalents (and gets them the wrong way round) but I
wouldn't expect VB to be looking at them as they aren't sent by most
controls.
