Also I've done a little looking into it but is there any way to recieve a keyboard event from scintilla such as when a user presses the left arrow key or right arrow key?  I used oncharadded to just get the last char entered but it won't react to control characters such as left arrow, right arrow, etc.  Is there any way I can detect when one of these is pressed so I can activate an event?  Thanks

Sounds like focus is going wrong if the form is getting these
events rather than Scintilla. Unless it is getting a lostfocus when a
click on Scintilla moves focus from the form to Scintilla.
