>>Trying to decide between Koni yellow and Tokico illuminas.
I would go for the Konis, they are infinitely adjustable whereas the
Tockicos have just the 5 way adjustment.

>Linear front, progressive rear. They are stiffer front and rear than the
"F" springs. Still, I think they give a decent ride, even my girlfriend
thinks the car rides better than her brother's F-bird with stock springs.
There's nothing wrong with a specific rate spring, handling will be very
good and the ride will not be that much harsher it's the rear spring that
provides most of the ride comfort. Global West makes an excellent 800lb
front 160 lb rear spring combo that works very well and will properly lower
the car by roughly 1". They also have the proper solid offset rack
bushings...
>>Would the MM plates be necessary for a daily driver?
Global West makes nice steel plates with the spherical design, you can get
eitehr the drag plates or road race plates but they have a new plate coming
out which is a hybrid...

>You're going to need C/C plates anyway, might as well get the good ones. I
went with Steeda to save a little money, and wish I had gone with MM.
Nothing wrong with the Steeda's, they just lack the independant adjustments
of the MM design.
