Lets face it, if you have the wherewithall to understand the calls you are probably over qualified to be working in a call centre. If it is not on the script you will get a more or less random reply; call again and I'd guess that the next person will say something different, perhaps entirely contradictory. The problem however is not likely to be solved by grilling staff who have no influence over the policy, I'd ask for a contact further up the hierarchy. I'd be sure to quote the following from their website regarding the Online Energy Service: "This exclusive service is available to all customers who have a single rate meter". No mention of OS (or a computer for that matter!). Perhaps some detailed terms and conditions are available?
