Though I mostly use Google for translating other languages to English
('cos I don't know other languages! ), I thought it might be of
interest to you and/or other list folks.
Though I never used the feature, IIRC, in MySQL help document (the
latest version, probably 4.2), there was some mention of the ability
to create more than one column of different character encodings in the
same table. Perhaps there was a mention of Unicode also.
