Hello, A Scribus forum has just been created on the french site linuxgraphic.org<http://linuxgraphic.org>, which is devoted to computer graphics under Linux (mainly Gimp, Blender, Inkscape). The creation of this forum is an answer to more and more requests from the users regarding Scribus. The administrators of this site have hesitated a bit before creating this forum, but a survey showed that most users of the site would be interested by this forum. I personaly think that this forum is a good point, and will not divide neither information nor attention. It may give some french speaking users the will to test Scribus, which they would not do otherwise. Once they'll have discovered Scribus, they will like it, and surely come to this mailing list to get answers to more advanced questions. My view is that it is less intimidating for a beginner (not talking about anyone here, but in a general view) to ask simple questions in his mother tongue, on a forum, rather than in English on a mailing list animated by the developpers themselves. The future will tell us if this french-speaking forum is a good idea. Just in case, the link is http://www.linuxgraphic.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=20 Fred. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
