i've always had the thought that nate had his chance to come back to sdre, in
fact they waited around for months for him to make up his mind. as dan said(i
think in the buddyhead interview), waiting for nate became the theme of their
life. he instead chose the money and a steady source of income so that he could
pay his mortgage. i personally don't want him back in the band. i like his work
that he contributed, but he bailed on the rest of the band.
as for joe and how his sitation is similar to will's in the foo's, i imagined
that will thought he was going to be involved in recording and being an active
band member. i don't think sdre ever told joe that he was a full member of the
band. that being said i still thought he did a good job, and wouldn't be a bad
replacement, but if sdre just wants him for touring so be it.
