hmm...

i'd hate to say that there is a band greater than sunny day, but if i had to
say any of sunny day's betters (from same time period) , it'd be radiohead,
and possibly hum.  but hum's too close.  but radiohead.  i hate to say it,
but radiohead is one of those bands that just makes everyone listen to them.
you cant ignore them.   they're one of the bands that flames onto the musical
scene and FORCES the mainstream to pay attention.  no one can deny that they
were not mearly pushing the boundaries of rock and roll,  but they were, in
some ways, redefining them.  sunny day is much more of a slow burn band.
this is a vast overstatement of their....probable infulence, but i immagine
them as more of a velvet underground thing.  vastly unapriciated, and never
comercialy sucsessful.   it all depends on what the next musical revolution
is.  the time is nearing, there will be one soon.  there has to be.  every
time pop music drifts to far into the realms of meaninglessnes, someone comes
along and destroys it, and everyone copys them.  nirvana is the best example.
punk rock is another one.  but it happens.  and, who knows, its possible it
could be to the tune of sunny day real estate.  its not going to be
radiohead,  no one can imitate them.  most people dont even try.  ive lost my
point.

people could listen to sunny day.  ive never heard someone who dosnt like
them.  ive  personally made upwards of thirty new sunny day fans, and every
attempt has been a sucsess.  who knows why they're small.  i dont.
