Re: [AI] Sreedhariyam treatment
can't comment on your research, most journals do not accept papers on alternate medicine including ayurvedic, question of publishing doesn't arise. Seems you you too like most people are brainwashed by mainstream/western science. Just because something hasn't appeared in international publications the same cannot be recommended. There are many practitioners of alternate medicines who have successfully cured many diseases which the mainstream science failed. Then you make an unbiased research paper disproving sreedhareeyam's claims and try to publish. I can logically answer all your misgivings but unfortunately this is not the right list for that. - Original Message - From: "Dr. B. S. M. Re: [AI] Sreedhariyam treatment
Hi Mr. Subramani, Is there any scientific evidence for their course of treatment. Any treatment has to be approved by medical board and scientific medical reports has to be published in international refreed journals. I still feel it is a waste of time, money on such un - recognized treatment procedures. I've already approached top ayurvedic/homeopathic doctors and they have also confirmed that there is no cure for retinitis pigmentosa, and all these claims are false claims and money making machines using the emotions of the patients and their family. Once again, I re-iterate my previous statement, which is, use your money and time in empowering yourself with assistive technologies, for battling with this disease. Kind regards, Prof. B.S.M. Dear RP friends, Don't get panic on RP and its final stage. Try to learn mobility at first. Don't hesitate to use white cane on travel. Now a days, technology is helping us. Learn using computers with screen readers. Make yourself comfortable in handling smart phones using talk back. Absorb the situation around us up to certain extent. Share the issues with other RP friends to get solutions from their experiences. Be happy on what we can do. Don't hurt on what we can't do. We will be learning many things on each & every situation what we face. Surely, you will feel better on experiencing your life. Re: [AI] Sreedhariyam treatment
Mohit, While I don’t have RP, but I know many who have it. In the current scenario, there is no full proof cure of RP, and the best advice will be to take the treatment to keep the loss in control. It’s harsh to hear this, more hard to digest, and gutsy to accept and move on with life. So far as this hospital is concerned, you are best advised not to waste time, money and effort. Re: [AI] Sreedhariyam treatment
Hi Sir, There is absolutely no treatment for retinitis pigmentosa. Any claim made by sreedairyam, in this regards, is a total farse, and it is just a waste of money and time. Instead of wasting the money on such unnecessary treatment, just use that money for empowering yourself with assistive technology. Kind regards, Prof. B.S.M. Kumar, M.Sc., M.Tech., PhD.
