RE: Query to get a specific account id

2022-12-15 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Luiz,

Thank you for reaching us out. I am Sherwin from Google Ads API support team. I
hope that you are doing well today.

If you are looking to list down all the accounts, you may use this code example
in this guide for listing accessible accounts. The resulting list of customers
is based on your OAuth credentials. The request returns a list of all accounts
that you are able to act upon directly given your current credentials. This
will not necessarily include all accounts within the account hierarchy; rather,
it will only include accounts where your authenticated user has been added with
admin or other rights in the account.

You may also try to use the customer_client report as it will also determine if
the account id is the manager account or not.

Let us know if this is what you are looking for.

Kind regards,

Sherwin Vincent

RE: Get data from specific customer id

2022-12-15 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

This is Carmela from the Google Ads API support team. Thank you for reaching
out.

With regards to your question, Google Ads API has different reports to be used
in order to get data present in your account. For setting up Google Ads API,
you may refer to this guide first as you need to complete the steps outlined in
the Google Ads API quickstart.

Once you successfully setup, you may use GoogleAdsService.Search or
GoogleAdsService.SearchStream to get any report. You may use this code example
for reporting examples. You may also check this reporting guide in the Google
Ads API.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Regards,

Carmela

Hi Luiz,

To resolve the CUSTOMER_NOT_ENABLED error, you will first need to reactivate
the account. Afterwards, you can then proceed in making API calls to that
account.

As for the "I want a query that contains all accounts ids, both mccs and mccs'
children, how can I get this query done?" concern, you can refer to the get
account hierarchy guide that I sent earlier.

Let us know if this helps.

Uploading offline enhanced conversions error

2022-12-15 Thread 'Holger Gobel' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi -

We are looking for some assistance when trying to upload offline enhanced
conversions.

We have set up a offline conversion action, and adjusted the setting
'Method for measuring offline conversions' to be 'Enhanced conversions for
leads'. When trying to upload an enhanced conversion either via the API or
file upload for a hashed email, we are receiving a partial error back
stating 'No click was found for the provided user identifiers. This may be
because the conversion did not come from a Google Ads campaign'.

For this same conversion, if we try uploading it using the GCID we have for
it instead of the enhanced conversion/hashed email, it is successfully
uploading.

Is there something we are missing that may allow these conversions to be
matched to a click via hashed email? We are under the assumption that this
conversion, which we know came from a click since we have the GCID, should
be able to upload using the email for the enhanced conversion. Is there
something else that needs to be setup under the Google Tag to allow these
emails to match to clicks?

Thanks!

INVALID_LISTING_GROUP_HIERARCHY

2022-12-15 Thread 'Haritha Devalla' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Team,

For few standard shopping campaigns, we are seeing GoogleAdsError in the
BatchJobResult. And the error message says the trigger is
INVALID_LISTING_GROUP_HIERARCHY(nothing else other than that in the
errordetails).

Following is the detailed error we are able to capture:
Error at operation index 0 - Ad group is invalid due to the listing groups
it contains. - with errorcode { "criterionError":
"INVALID_LISTING_GROUP_HIERARCHY" }

However we don't see anything invalid in our campaigns or adgroups.
Could you please help us by letting us know how to fix this issue.

Thanking you very much in advance!
Regards,
Haritha

RE: Ho to make an query to list all account ids?

2022-12-15 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Luiz,

By "get all account ids in my account" do you mean getting all client account
IDs under your MCC / manager account? If yes, you can refer to our get account
hierarchy guide for the details as to how.

You can then generate a report for each client account returned, and you can
refer to this example for the implementation. Let us know if this is what
you're looking for.

Lastly, I noticed you specified the version="v7" in your post. You can refer
here for the currently supported versions of the API. We then recommend using
the latest version, for the latest API features.

Hi All,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API team. I hope you are doing well
today.

The "invalid_grant ” error usually indicates an issue with the refresh token.
That said, you will need to regenerate credentials and refresh tokens. You may
refer here to this guide for the steps on how you can regenerate credentials
and refresh tokens. Also, I agree on what @Lambert said about validity of
refresh token.

Furthermore, you may check this document to read more information about refresh
token expiration.

Query Related to Domain Limit Exceeded Exceptions

2022-12-15 Thread 'Anurag Sinha' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Team,
We have below 2 Scenario based Queries after reading the Domain Limit
Exceeded Exceptions doc

1. When the 11th Domain is added to Authorized domains then the Domain
Limit Exceeded Exception will be seen for all the domains or only for the
11th added Domain-related API calls?

2. When the 11th domain is added then a message pops up for app
verification. And App review takes at least 2 days to at max 6 weeks as per
the app review doc

So after adding the 11th domain will the API calls immediately start to
fail or will the API calls fail after a period of 6 weeks at least?

RE: Integrated with Google Lead Form extension. Need get stats and leads from test campaign for test accounts

2022-12-15 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Raman,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

Kindly see below responses to your queries:

1.Is there way to create a test campaign on a test account and get statistics
and leads from it?

>> Yes, you may create a test campaign on a test account, however, test
>> accounts appear in the Google Ads UI as cancelled accounts since there is no
>> active billing and they do not render ads to users. So there will be no
>> statistics like metrics data from it.

2. Can you please tell me how I can do this?

>>Note that Test accounts allow you to try out new API implementations or
>>account configurations, prior to implementing the changes in your production
>>environment. You may refer to this guide for creating an account, and this
>>guide for the creating campaign.

3. Is there a sandbox to start and test campaign on test Google Ads accounts or
another way to create a test company to get statistics and leads?

>> To create test accounts and campaigns, you may follow the instructions below
>> to create a test manager account, a test client account, and a few campaigns
>> to populate the test client account. Note that "client" here refers to a
>> Google Ads client account, not your client app.

click here to create a test manager account. If prompted, sign in with a Google
Account that isn't linked to your production Google Ads manager account. There
is also a link to create a new Google Account if you need to do so.
While signed in to your test manager account, create a test client account. Any
client accounts you create from your test manager account are automatically
test accounts.
Create a few test campaigns under the test client account in the Google Ads
UI.
Take note of the client customer ID for the new test client account, and save
it. You'll need this to make API calls later.

Also, note that you may need to use the developer token of your production
manager account when making requests against the test manager account. Even if
it's not approved yet, the token will still work on test accounts, including
the ones just created.

4. On what resources can I see this information (official documentation, links
to forums, etc.)?

>> You may refer to this guide.

Hi Heidi,

I am using the PHP client library. I have enabled logging in the
google_ads_php.ini and set the logLevel to DEBUG. However, no logs are
being generated According to the docs in php sdk that is how logging the
request, response etc should be handled. Is there some other setting I

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

As per this guide, you may need to Sign in, then navigate to TOOLS & SETTINGS >
SETUP > API Center. The API Center option appears only for Google Ads manager
accounts. If you already sign up, then the developer token shows up in your API
Center with a Pending Approval status.

Could you help us to understand more for your statement “Now that google has
removed that section and implemented under google cloud/api platform section
(their documentation/steps has also changed). ”? Also, you may provide us the

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to Google Ads API. I am Sherwin and I hope that you
are doing well today.

Moving forward to your concerns, to answer your concerns generally, based on
this document, target_roas is required. The chosen revenue (based on conversion
data) per unit of spend. Value must be between 0.01 and 1000.0, inclusive.
However, to further investigate the issue, could you please provide us the
complete request and response logs with request ID and request header generated
on your end? If you haven't enabled the logging yet, logging can be enabled by
navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging

Please provide it via Reply privately to the author option. If this option is

Re: Conversion Action Tracking Status

2022-12-15 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

This is Marjorie from the Google Ads API team as well. Thank you for getting
back to us.

With regard to your concern about using the conversion_action.status field that
cannot see any equivalent, it is because “Status Unverified “ means here the
Google ads haven't verified your tag yet, which usually takes up to 3 hours
after someone visits your page containing the tag. However, for us to create
feature request on your behalf, could you provide us with the detailed feature
request description and justification (business use cases where this feature is
critical)? Kindly note that feature requests are subject to review.

For the other concern that you need all the fields, you can use the following
conversion_action report:

conversion action name-->conversion_action.name
origin -->conversion_action.origin
count --> conversion_action.counting_type
conversion source --> conversion_action.origin
metrics fields --->metrics.all_conversions and metrics.all_conversions_value
click through conversion window --->
conversion_action.click_through_lookback_window_days
view through window --> conversion_action.view_through_lookback_window_days
attribution model>
conversion_action.attribution_model_settings.attribution_model

For more information, please see conversion_action documentation.

I hope it helps. Have a great day.

Regards,

Marjorie

Modifying DiscoverCarouselAd - changing cards

2022-12-15 Thread Lambert Beekhuis

Hi team

I succesfully initialized an DiscouveryCarouselAdInfo with two
CarouselCards through the API!

Now I want to modify this Ad through the API: I want to change some cards
of the Ad

The structure is as follows:

AdGroupAd -> Ad -> DiscoveryCarouselAdInfo -> carouselCards

How to update these cards? If I use the updateOperation from the AdGroupAd
is says:

"Field 'ad.discovery_carousel_ad.carousel_cards' cannot be modified by
'UPDATE' operation."

How to proceed? Do I need to make a new Ad? But then all exiting
information on Ad is also gone, and maybe it has other consequences?

Hope someone can help me out!

best regards, Lambert

Integrated with Google Lead Form extension. Need get stats and leads from test campaign for test accounts

2022-12-15 Thread Raman Trafimovich
We have integrated with Google Lead Form extension and we would like to
test it in detailed way. Is there way to create a test campaign on a test
account and get statistics and leads from it? Can you please tell me how I
can do this? Is there a sandbox to start and test campaign on test Google
Ads accounts or another way to create a test company to get statistics and
leads? On what resources can I see this information (official
documentation, links to forums, etc.)? Thanks

Re: Discovery campaign not present in campaign performance report

2022-12-15 Thread 'Oksana Sulyma' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello, let me copy paste the answer I got in private messaging in case it
could be helpful for other people.

-- ---
Hi Oksana,

Thank you for your response.

Upon checking your account and campaign, I can see that this
campaign's subtype is *Discovery product feed*. This subtype is currently
not supported in the API. To determine which campaign types and subtypes
are supported, you may refer to the below fields of the campaign

 report
:

   - campaign.advertising_channel_type

   - campaign.advertising_channel_sub_type

That said, a feature request was already raised by our team for this
subtype's support in the API. For now, you may keep an eye on our blog

 for
updates and announcements on this feature. I hope this helps.

Thanks for answer to my question!
Oksana
