That's my favorite song too...but i like the telugu version of it...in SPB's voice...
 
& what about the flute in Ennavale...the 2nd interlude...its something like a rollor coaster ride...rapid up-downs...just amazing !!

Islam changed his named from Cat Stevens on becoming a Muslim
Singer Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens, is to host a
concert in Indonesia for victims of the tsunami.

The concert in Jakarta on 31 January will feature a host of local
artists coming together to raise money for the devastated province of
Aceh.

The star has also written a charity single called Indian Ocean, with a
number of other recording artists.

While in Indonesia, folk singer Islam, 56, will open a regional office
of his Small Kindness charity.

"Like everyone else, I was so shaken by the enormity of this human
tragedy, and the song just came without effort," Islam said in the
statement on his website.

"It is my contribution towards helping to rebuild the broken spirits
of the victims of the disaster."
Aceh
The Aceh province in Indonesia was devastated by the tsunami

The charity record, composed by Islam, also features musicians
including Indian composer AR Rahman, A-Ha's Magne Furuholmen and
Travis drummer Neil Primrose.

They recorded the single in London and it is due for release in
February to raise money for children orphaned by the disaster.

Islam has rarely recorded music with instruments since his conversion
to the Muslim faith in 1977.

He said: "It's not a return to Cat Stevens, I see it more as a natural
response to express my concern as a Muslim and as an artist; I believe
both can exist side by side, particularly when the cause is right."

Islam recently hit headlines after he was removed from a flight from
London to Washington because officials suspected he had links to
terrorism.

He strongly denied the claims and said it was a case of mistaken identity.

nayak cd i had bought!! it is indeed a really really
good song, and im happy to recall it and play it in my
head thanks to you!!!:)
i just remember a few hindi lyrics:

Rajini doesn't talks ill of anyoneand that too in a public function. 
He might have said that statement just to praise the MD Vidyasagar.
ARR has lots respect towards Rajini and it is only for Rajini that 
ARR has scored music in a fast pace for all the 3 movies. There 
might have been some sort of hiccups during BABA, but Rajini was 
well aware of ARR's busy Bombay Dreams schedule.
ARR's fan no need to take this speech of Rajini seriously.

Hi Folks,
Yea, I also saw this just this afternoon (aired in SunTV-USA time). I was also much concerned. Rajini did mention that without delaying and making 'bandha' Vidyasagar delivered. Taking into account that all the 3 previous movies of Rajini - Muthu, Padayappa, Baba was composed by our boss, and these words came out of Rajini.we could probably relate. Does that mean our boss creates bandha? or delays ?? Wellits hard to decide.
However, our boss is known for his simplicity and humbleness. It would be a mistake on Rajini's part to pass such a comment IF AT ALL HE MEANT ARR.
I would wait and see what will the same Rajini mention about ARR during Shivaji's success celebrations - which I am sure would be more successful in terms of music, if not by the cinema itself !!!
Lets wait n watch before we make conclusions.:)

I saw that show..
First its naturl for any actor to praise all the technicians those who have been involved with the movie ..a movie especially one of biggest hits in tamil industry.
The rajini and vidyasagar were speaking and discussing a lot on movie during its making.
Just to console Vidyasagar on not been able to get MD of shivaji,rajini has said some praises about him.
Watever he said about vidyasagar,he didnt mention that he gfives better music than others
And when shankar spoke he mentioned that Shivaji has a great actor,big production company,big music director.(certainly he was reffering to our BOSS)
its time to cheer up guys and take things on positive note...

There was a new documentary about Sharukh Khan released two weeks ago
named the Inner and Outer world of SK and it was done by Eros
entertainment and the director was Nasreen Munni Kabir who is based in
London...
Her next venture is with Rehman and she sad int eh release funciton
that she is planning to release that documentary soemtime next week!
so there u go
your long awaited documentary will coem to life

Yes ur right mate ,i see Krishna Cottage jus to see ARR's pencil's portrait.Nice wrk by the artist.The AIRTEL sound in KBC 2 is very cool in a very tense situation.

ya true..airtel jngle is very popular.also dont forget Titan Ads 
 
and also watch Sun Music For most of thier proggrams...thier title music is an ARR composition...its really nice
