Re: ARPlugin.exe growing uncontrollably
Christie, We had the same issue here. BMC support provided us with a hotfix which involved replacing several dll files. They said that it was a memory leak on the plugin. Prior to this we used to go to the task manager and select the arplugin process and do a end process tree which would restart the plugin, whenever it was over the 1.5 GB. Hope this helps. Re: ARPlugin.exe growing uncontrollably
I have seen this sort of thing happen when you make code changes in production with Development Cache Mode off. Note that there are some apps which cause this to happen, the worst offender seems to be Service Level Management but I don't know if RKM does this. This problem was quite severe under Linux but is observable under Windows. Re: ARPlugin.exe growing uncontrollably
I did a server reboot on Sunday at 1:15 pm the file was at 20,848 K. Today at 8:39 am it was at 66,484 K. No one has done any code changes since the reboot. We do have RKM but we don't have SLM installed. The only other correlation we have seen is that when our system locks up someone has been doing quite a bit of work in the ReportCreator screen.
