Sorry, I did mean smack me and got the name wrong.Zany touch however is a similar game, and there though there is a paid mode, unlike smack me it doesnt add to the gameplay, although while I thought zany touch was much more accessible, I didnt personally like the sounds and music as much as in smack me.

Hello all. I played Bokurano 2 and it is very good game. Please, do somebody english language pack or polish (PL) language pack for Bokurano 3? When it is i Napanese, I cannot play it.. Well I wouldnt say not very active, sinse just because a company isnt posting on twitter or making announcements or pumping out games like nobodys business doesnt mean theyre not still around and working, look at Draconis, Pcs or Gma. They were okay about key replacements for their other games like galaxy ranger last I checked, sinse they have this annoying online activation system and only let you have the one copy of the game running on one machine, however theyve just gone entirely silent on the subject of X hour. They didnt upgrade it to run with windows 7 the way they upgraded their other games, the last I heard they were supposed to be doing some sort of rewrite or upgrade or similar though I have no idea what has happened. Its odd, sinse otherwise Ive found them quite reasonable to deal with, but on X hour they just seem to have forgotten about the game and catagorically ignore any questions about it.<

Well I dont personally like that Blind game phrase, but leaving that aside I take your point, however this is perhaps why on the simplicity front I can understand why Somethinelse are building a game essentially as an introduction to audiogames for sighted gamers who have not played games like Troopanum or Superliam before, much less something more complex, sinse after all part of the reason Papa Sangre has court the attention of sighted gamers is Im afraid, novelty value.So I do understand the thinking behind having a simpler, introductory, arcade style game for those new to audio, in the hope that people will go on To Papa Sangre etc later, however I am still concerned over the mechanics issue sinse far too often when simpler games have been tried they do boil down to audio reaction tests, ie, boppit. This was one reason I was hoping for a closed arena shooter, sinse it would provide some tactical play requiring the player to judge their pos
 ition and that of enemies, not just hear it, hit it. Obviously as Blind Swordsman proves it is possible to have good, addictive mechanics that work on judgement in a simple game, but on average that is far less common, which is why I say I have a few missgivings but want to play the game before making up my mind.

Hi there. The speed limit in this game is usually 55 miles, unless theres a construction ahead, in which you should lower the speed to 35. And consider drastically lowering the speed when its raining, to about 20 or 30. Thats it.

Although I understand that a turn and shoot style of game could be simple, boring and tedious, I do have high hopes for this title. After all, Sixth Sense is similar, and it does get hard relatively quickly though I do confess that after youve gotten some of the bettter weapons, the first 5 minutes of a game are quite boring as you dont gain anything but currency and are only fending yourself from zombies which were previously difficult but are now almost mindlessly easy. But it does get harder relatively quickly. Secondly, the sound design alone on this game will keep me occupied for at least a little while, not only because I am into sound design, but because if the game sounds anything like the kickstarter video, it will be quite satisfying to take out scores of zombies. In mainstream games, and I have a feeling in Audiodefense as well, you feel the recoil a little bit just because the crack of the gun is so exaggerated, you cringe a little, perhaps victoriously at the gore because it is so grossly overstated, and you sinically grin as your foe hits the ground with a deep, loud thud. Perhaps the reason I like it so much is that the sounds are meant to pull you in, dont have any obvious flaws at least in the mix, and have been recorded and mastered by professionals and foley artists to have about a billion times more impact than would be the case if you were to do it in real life. Less violent games can still do it as well, Im just using Audiodefense as an example because there are so many ways to push up the in yo face aspect that I like. Not to criticize audio games, because I love them to death, but in my opinion, a decent amount of audio games dont have that sonic impact, you just cant feel the sounds hit you although you know whats happening. Thirdly, Audiodefense advertises many zombies, and the voice acting in all their games is quite nice. Ill go into that later. So while I am not opposing or defending the turn and shoot style of gameplay, I am just expressing why I have high hopes for the game, whatever the style is. Whether it meets my expectations or not remains to be seen when its released. The level of difficulty, I will leave to no pre-judgment, only that I expect at some point to be challenged and beaten mercilessly while at the same time having a chance to learn the mechanics first. Somethin Else games are pretty good about starter levels, actuallly I feel llike sometimes theyre too easy even for a tutorial, but still I dont think getting used to the game will be an issue.Now for the zombies: The Zombiepedia on Audiodefenses web site talks briefly about the zombies. It sounds to me like enemy descriptions that youd see in the manual of Super Liam, for example. Very direct but brief, not giving you much in the way of just figuring it out on your own. But I dont mind that, and I bet a mainstream audience would appreciate the direct writing, as most have not played audio games before and really have no clue what to do. Ill copy and paste it here so you can read it more easily. If you go on the actual page, there are sound cloud links for most of the zombies so you can hear what they might sound like. Some of them are quite exciting!Classic ZombieThe show is called ‘Dr. Bastard’s Zombie Arena’, so he has to deliver some classic zombies. That means the slow, feet-shuffling kind. They can take a couple of bullets more than a Reject, but are easily beaten if they come alone.-BerserkA formidable Zombie you don’t want to mess with. The Berserk is a blind zombie who looks for his prey by sniffing around. If you don’t shoot him, he will go away in a few seconds. A single bullet that hits him will cause him to go into a frenzy and charge towards you very fast, and be warned: he can take a lot of bullets!-ChainsawThe crowd’s favourite. This crazy undead is smart enough not only to wield a chainsaw, but also to run at you moving sideways. The magic ball is at level 5000, yes. And your level has to be higher before you can take it on without dying or making it very hard for yourself. I havent actually beaten it yet, so someone else should give better tips... lol.

Guys this is important. Ok so I can get to the menu or whatever that shows my iphone and I see where I can change the sync options on my phone, but not a list of artists, albums etc that Id like to sync to my phone. just configure accessibility, manually manage music and videos, reset warnings, convert higher bit rate songs to..., prefer standard definition videos, sync only checked songs and videos, sync with iphone over wi-fi, automatically sync with this iPhone when it is connected. nothing about artists, songs, albums, etc. Help please?

As anyone who has played the Somethin Else games will know, the games feature a visual interface in order to navigate the menus such as level select and control configuration. The in-game interface also features icons that indicate the direction the player is currently facing and the buttons to press in order to move the character forward.This is a useful interface as, using the iOS middleware VoiceOver, we can create an accessible layer above this interface which gives a flexibilit
 y to the interface and, providing that the interactive elements have an associated accessible attribute, the same interface may be used by all players simply by interacting with the devices touch screen.While this works and is great, I wonder how we might do better. Has anyone played any audio games that have been more strenuously gesture based (a la Nintendo Wii) rather than touch-screen gestures? Also, how would people feel about physical based games (for example, an audio game implemented with wearables and one that you played with friends in the physical world. An MMO game that extended the digital space and allowed players to cross the digital rubicon so to speak.)To sum up, this post is to say hello to all and to source feedback on what the future of audio games may be like. There has been some examination of the cold mechanics and we did find a few bugs with it! So after reading this threat I just wanted to stop in and let you guys know its been adjusted. Thank you for your feedback!Also if your going to start consider starting in Haiban or Mistral Lake (Which are warmer). Mistral does have a bit of an dangerous run in and out of the city, but it has a hunting spot very close to it (Which is newbie friendly) and patrol guards you can join who will walk with you in and out of the city and try to keep you safe. As does Haiban.If your looking for a newbie spot to hunt in Shadgard. You can always ask over ESP (Until your pendent breaks of course and you need to buy a permanent one, sold in any post office for 300 riln). If you see the #thoroughfare as your walking (The # means you can look / go to it) then you may want to explore in there. Almost all of the new areas are right on the open roads.Always feel free to contact staff
  via the BBS or tells in game (I try to make myself specifically available for that) and of course mentors and the question channel. If you are asked to ask it IC, you can pretty much go to the esp network with it. A lot of people are willing to go the extra mile for new players too, so its not a bad suggestion to explain how you just arrived and would like someone to give you some advice! There are plenty of IC reasons for people to get thrown into the Lost Lands!-JGM Vinz

I beat it at level 2700. YOull notice that it has a pattern of attacks that it throws, and the only way that i have found to avoid the dark attack is to drop something behind me so that the dark attack hits it instead of me. Other than that, just magical edge it to death and pick up all the pieces of magic. Youll want at least 5 attack to do decent damage and out-regen its healing spec. Use a speed drink because it moves faster than you. Royal jelly is good because its permanent speed unless you use a weapon that requires stamina, and magical edge does not.

I dont agree with him on similarities between Clara dn Rose, sinse while rose did have moments of high compitance and doing the same thing the Doctor did, firstly she never made the Doctor out to be an idiot while doing it, and secondly she was never quite as perfectly smug and satisfied. I agree with him on the monsters here being a great concept, but I didnt like his comments on monti python logic or the way he tosses around the word escapism which is really one of the most ill defined terms of cryticism out there (indeed Ive had it in mind to
  write an essay on it). Monti python exists for craziness, and while its craziness often played streight as if it had some sort of order, there fundamentally isnt a lot of logic to it. Doctor Whos craziness should be at least internally consistant within the logic of the program. For example, the Doctor moving the tardis with his hand is a wonderful idea, but it stems from the shrunken tardis and the idea that dimentional energy has been leached from it. As I said earlier, it doesnt matter how it works, it just matters that there is an internally consistant explanation as to whySometimes Doctor who (even in the audios), goes a little over this line, but for me Flatline didnt because all the points were basically setup in a consistant way. people vanish on housing estate, clara gets through with psychic paper and looking official (sinse hay, occasionally people just arent that curious), monsters are in 2D, becom
 e 3D and monkey with tardis dimentions, and sinse the tardis is dimentionally transcendental (its in the name), we can accept the consequence of this. This is why as I said earlier I wish the solution the Doctor employed also went along the dimentional route rather than just using a magic force field.Getting back to stuart I do agree with him both this episode and orient express shouldve been earlier in the run, indeed if these two followed deep breath Id be a lot more positive about the series and the twelth doctor.

@Brad the analogue physical movement is a good idea and could provide some interest for the game (I like it in papa 2), though whether it will make for a sustaining mechanic or just something that looks cool at first but fades into the background when your used to it I dont know.@Afrim, good post, and not just because of the zombie descriptions, a thumbs up from me for your structured thoughts on this one. Looking at the way the zombies work out I can see that somethinelse have thought somewhat tactically, eg, having the Berserk zombies as zombies you actively dont want to shoot, and having other types that complement each other, eg the chainsaw zombie moving sideways and the circling clown, or the fast snufflehog and riot gear zombie. However whether this proves effective will depend upon the subtleties of mechanics, distance and speed of movement. Troopanum 2 was obviously planned to have similar varieties of complementary ship types, however the proble
 m was that the speed at which the ships appeared and the speed of your rate of fire necessitated that apart from the swinging liquidator ships that could only be shot in the center of the arena, you were still reacting to each ship in roughly the same way, ie, hitting it as quickly as possible. Even judgement day tended to run down to similar basic reaction tactics despite the enemies differing in style.If we are faced with a massive hoard of standard or reject zombies interspersed with the odd other type and the mechanics are entirely just based on speed then the game becomes mostly a reaction test. If the zombie and player movements, along with the rte of fire are better calibrated to go for a more tactical method of playing, then this might not be the case. Ultimately it will come down to does a person progress in the game simply by reacting faster, or does a person progress by learning the engine and needing to make crytical judgements about what
  enemies are presented. Even in the first case we could have a fun game, but probably not one that will have much replay value or incentive to try and ged kill many zombies, get a high score, earn achievements etc sinse reaction is fundamentally just reaction and not by itself addictive. After all which game is more fun, snap or or uno.I agree sound design of somethinelse has always been good, and this is one area where I fully expect them to deliver particularly well. While I wouldnt knock audio games for bad sound design, if it is done well it really helps and every one of somethinelses games has done sound design superbly.Im now just wanting to try the game and see whether it lives up to expectations or justifies my apprehention .

For windows I suggest FreeOCR. Look for that in google.

The weapon helper is nothing but a reference for what weapons you dont yet have. It doesnt actually tell you how to find them. But yes, it does tell you to paste it into a text file if you need to check it at any time.

Hi.Okay theres lords and knights for iOs and android and star traders is for both iPhone and android although thats not a multi-player game. Then I think words with friends and hanging with friends are both accessible. Then theres the storm8 games zombies live, vampires live, and iMobsters but I think those games are for iOs only but all three are multi-player. Then theres solara for iPhone this might also be for android this is a multi-player rpg. If your into playing muds get mudrammer or pocketmud for iOs I dont know what mudclient you would use for android but you can play all the muds you could think of.Hth.

Can't run Awesome Homer

Hi.As the title says, I cant run Awesome homer because of wave file corruption. Im trying this several times, but the game keeps saying one of wave files is corrupted. I redownloaded the archive three times. I tried even changing the system locale. Does anyone know why this happens, or could anyone give me the working archive? I have Winkit installed, and am extracting Awesome Homer to the same location.

Unfortunately, this is not possible.As I said before on this topic, it would make much more sense if the rides broke down, but didnt have to be destroyed. While Im sure it was unintentional on the developers part, the implication that the rides were built so badly that they irreparably break all the time is, well, disconcerting, to say the least.

Thanks for that, all great to know. Small note though, the # isnt generally read by screen readers while youre playing a mud. Most people, or at least I do, turn down the punctuation level to avoid decorative ascii and this also covers symbols like #. I have seen the thoroughfare on my travels though and Ill go take a closer look.

I didnt even know that they did that. Another thing that you can do is to type exits when in a room. That will show you all the exits, even those that are not visible in the regular exits line (which I dont agree with but thats just me). Id rather see all exits on a line without having to type another command but Ive seen other muds that do the same thing.

Ponce media downloader.

Hi.I would liketo know if the peple who make ponce media downloader visit or post on this forum.I have a question for them.Why is it, when I try to download a playlist of around 400 videos, the program crashes?Could this be fixed? Since Ive tried using youtube to mp3 converter to download playlists and convert them but this program crashes also.Is there anything that can be done? Or any way people have gotten around this?Thanks.

Hi. With regards to attractions breaking down and having to be replaced. The idea is that each attraction has an amount of time before it gets to old. My thinking was that something like a bouncy castel wouldnt last for ever and this was the answer I came up with to simulate this. Maybe the life times are not long enough, would be happy to here ideas about this. There is an option in the attraction management menu to be able to replace all of the attractions that have broken down. With regards food poisoning. In a future version Im going to look in to this.Maybe Ill give an option to choose food supplyer, the cheeper the supplier the more likely the food poisoning thing will be. This is just an idea at the moment. Thanks. Nick

you have to move on the second teleportation, because he will land in the platform near you on his 4th teleportation. you can easily hit him if you know where he is going

As for me, I beat the magic ball at level 2200 or so. My strategy is, after I manage to survive all of its fire attacks, it will soon do its lightning attack, which I reflect with the magical edge. I always make sure I am very close to the magic ball when it comes for it to doing its lightning attack. After I reflect its lightning attack, it then drops the magical piece, which I then hit with my magical edge, and if I am close enough to the magic ball, the magical piece I just hit with the edge will deal 400 damage to the magic ball, subtracting 20 percent off its health. Whenever it does its healing magic, it only increases by 10 percent. I keep repeating this process.
