Re: accessible spanish flash cards? I would definitely agree re: language transfer. I found a site that is a nice one for basic reading and it has a basic vocabulary builder, its accessible, too. Its called linguaIt worked wonders for me in french but here I am giving you the link for Spanish. I also listen to some songs and look up some lyrics and then there is a site called french voices, which does have conversations and then transcripts. That really helps you with understanding and imagining how people just commonly talk and so on. I am sure there is also a similar one for Spanish. I also really like how word reference gives you definitions that are easy to understand in Spanish using words you probably might know, and if you definitely do not get them you can just read the direct English translation. Context and usage is just amazing. Regarding language transfer, its principles helped me last night quite a bit because we were organizing a soiree française and I was able to communicate far more than what I would have imagined. I haven't tried the Spanish courses though, and maybe some community made ones work like that, but I've never seen that mentioned in any reviews of the site that I've read. The thing is, because I am using the language transfer corse, I'm learning a lot of, for lack of a better word, big words, which is great, but this will, and has, left gaps in my vocabulary, because language transfer uses the english you know to teach you spanish. To date, it is by far the most effective corse I've looked at. But if it continues to go the way it is, I'm going to need a source of vocabulary not related to english although it's taking many of these words in turn from latin. It's been highly recomended I use multiple sources. As for talking, I have my dad for any random questions and because he's a native speaker, I can practess speaking with him. As for making them myself I could try, although that would mean looking through dixionaries. Regarding flashcards someone had made a program that let you really easily make flashcards and so on but apparently the link is down or something, and that person has not posted back in some time either.
