Hi Donnie and list, You can get thunderbird scripts from: http://EmpowermentZone.com/tb_scr30.zip To make sure you are using the latest update, Install them and while in thunderbird, press f11 key. Hi, I don't know if anyone has ever used this program, but Logger Pro is a graphing and data entry program that I use for my chemistry lab. The scripts that are on Independence Science's website worked fine with JFW 12, but something has changed in JFW 13 and the scripts no longer work. Are there any other scripts that anyone knows of that would work with the latest build of JFW 13? You will have to manually input your script files into the script directory. For an English version of jaws, the script directory is X:\jawsXX\settings\enu where :\ is the drive letter of the drive you have your portable jaws on and jawsXX is the jaws version number. This is the folder hierarchy jaws used to come in prior to version 6.x. Just go ahead and disable windows messenger in 'services'. Go to start, then system, type in services in the search field there, go to local services. Hello there; if your using windows xP home addition, give these steps a try. 1. Start-menu Settings - Control Panel 2. enter on administrative tools 3. down arrow and enter on services 4. Tab one time to the list-view 5. Scroll down and look for, messenger, or windows messenger,, until you hear/see messenger 6. Press the applications key,up arrow and enter on properties 7. tab until you hear/see, StartUpType, down arrow until you hear, disable 8. Now tab and enter on okay button Now, you may have to alt+f4 to close everything. Hello all, I need urgently to learn how to work with Linux. I know there's a software called vmware, that I can use under windows to create a virtual machine where to install and learn and use Linux OS. I heard that there are jaws scripts for VMWare server that make it accessible. Does anyone knows where I can get those scripts, and witch version of vmware do they work with? My second question is, can a blind jaws user work with VMWare Workstation or server edition without scripts, and if not, are there other programs I can use with jaws. I am not sure about scripts for VMWare but you can set up a virtual machine with VirtualPC 2007 which you can download from www.microsoft.com. VirtualPC does not require any scripts to run with JFW. Be forewarned that VirtualPC does not currently, and probably never will work directly with USB devices. The code is actually compatible but unfortunately instead of being stand alone files as in earlier versions they at least for me needed to be embedded in the main IE script file. So if you are able to copy the source code in there and assign a hot key like I had to do then the answer is very much yes. It always does me some good to find out that people take the time to listen to those tutorials up on the site, thanks for that.
