"md5 GPG NOT OK" means the MD5 cehcksum is OK; but the GPG signature is not. -- Ki ça vos våye bén, Pablo Saratxaga http://www.ping.be/~pin19314/ PGP Key available, key ID: 0x8F0E4975

Well, I guess that when the error message of cpio is "Bad file descriptor" it is that there is some kind of conflict with existing files, I don't know what yet. Can anybody enligthen me on why this happens? On another note, how does one verify the integrity of cooker packages? I use "rpm --checksig", but all packages turnout to be "md5 GPG NOT OK". I guess cooker packages are not signed or I don't know how to verify them; shouldn't we be doing this? = Eugenio Diaz, BSEE/BSCE Linux Engineer [EMAIL PROTECTED] __ Do You Yahoo!? I have been pointing out that for a few months now! (I have been using the netscape from rawhide for all that time too, so If you want a quick fix that how.) There are several packages that appear corrupted, compat-glibc being one of them. They have actually increased the version and release, and the packages keep comming out corrupted. I use rpmfind as a mirror. --- diablero <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I have done a upgrade of XFree 3.3.6 and 4 and of > netscape. > Now netscape says there is an undefined function in > libXt provided by xfree > 3.3.6. I tried to reinstall compat-glibc from mdk 7.0. It failed, I deleted /usr/i386-glibc20-linux and it worked. And the upgrade too. -- Thomas Poindessous EpX asso GNU/Linux de l'Epita [EMAIL PROTECTED] && http://www.epita.fr/~epx

I get this error: gcc.colorgcc : -pg and -fomit-frame-pointer are incompatible.
