Re: Fjords and equipment for sale.
This message is from: Pat Wilson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Dear Sue: Having some experience with the loss of a beloved Fjord, I would like to concur with the others that you let a little time go by before making the decision to withdraw. We lost our gelding in a tragic accident a little over a year ago. He was the older half brother to our 4 year old. They were matched and worked together like the peanut butter and jelly twins. For a long time about all we could do was feed and water the other horses and cry. We were able to purchase Hans' younger brother and we are starting to work with him now. The pain is still there as is the guilt, but we are certainly enjoying our four year old Lena and her younger brother (nearly two) Eric. I sympathize with you and wish you the best. I sure you're totally burned out taking care of Keswick round the clock. But please hang in there. I'm sure you miss Katrina more than I can imagine, but I know you love your other horses and would miss them terribly if you got rid of them now. I'm just sorry I don't live close enough to help lighten your load of horse care. -- Steve McIlree -- Pferd & Skipper -- Omaha, Nebraska, USA There is no secret so close as that between a rider and his horse. --Robert Smith Surtees(1803-1864)
Fjords and equipment for sale.
This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the 6 weeks since Katrina died I have lost all ambition to continue, so I have decided to sell my 3 fjords and equipment. So for sale is: Los Trigos Heather, AC-L-1377-M by Bjarni out of Lenda II. Heather was born May 21,1998. She has been started driving and has been saddled but never ridden. Crown Oak's Keswick (colt), will be FBA registered and is by King Gjestar II out of Katrina born May 6, 2001. Anvils Ljosen (Gelding) is probably sold. I have 3 carts and numerous sets of harness, I would consider selling Heather with harness and a cart if that is what the buyer wanted. I will not sell any equipment until the horses are sold for this reason. Anyone who is interested please email me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or phone 505 281 6318. Sue Clark-Sorger Sandia Park New Mexico

This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Amy K White) Hi Martie, I know what you mean about having "no room at the inn" so to speak. That's the situation we are in, and only 1 Fjord. But feel free to call Woodrow Miller about his carts, his number is 308-732-3330. Thanks! _ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. With 5 horses already, I am not quite ready for another Fjord. But I would so like one! thanks, Martie Bolinski http:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Amy K White) Hello all. A fellow Fjord-lover here in Nebraska is in poor health and must sell his Fjords and equipment. He does not have access to this list, so we offered to post this message on his behalf. He has 2 registered geldings, half-brothers, ages 4 and 5 , broke to drive single or double and is asking $3000 for each. Also some very nice harness, carts, and wagons for very reasonable prices, as well as collars and miscellaneous items. Steve and I visited him last year and can tell you that his horses are well-broke and his harness and equipment are in good to excellent condition. We would love to have the horses ourselves, but our stable is full at the moment! If you are interested, please e-mail us privately and we can provide you with the complete list and prices. _ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
