Re: [Audyssey] Treasure hunt and code factory

2006-11-19 Thread Dark
Thanks for the link.

they appear to sell time adventures 1 and the fairy tale kids games, as well
as a game listed as "Driving software" which I presume is Km200 sinse the
entry for it mentioned being able to download tracks from the net, the entry
also said the game wouldn't run with windowsXp though.

They didn't seem to stock Alien invasion, or private detective school at all
though, which is odd considdering they seemed to have all of the Gma games
available on Cd, as well as what seemed to be all the accessible games in
the "Games for the blind" series, well, maybe they're just out of stock.

All the best,

Dark.

2006-11-19 Thread Phil Vlasak
Hi Dark,
I don't test ever link and I didn't check all prices in the list to see if
they were up to date.
I went by press releases and reports to the audyssey list.
So I don't know about treasure hunt and the BPC site.
Code factory for all I know does not sell directly but uses
indirect methods.
I think I found the CF prices on Independent Living aid's game page at,
http://www.independentliving.com/products.asp?dept=221&deptname=Accessible%20Software
Now that I look at it I only see,
Driver Simulating Software
which I think is KM2000

[Audyssey] Treasure hunt and code factory

2006-11-19 Thread Dark
Hello.

Looking over Phil's list, I notice there are several games that i haven't
tried.

the first of these is treasurehunt from BPC programs. I do remember going onto
the BPC programs site last year, but sinse I didn't have a working version of
Net framework then I couldn't try Treasurehunt out.

the descriptions on Audiogames.net and Pcs deffinately make it sound like my
sort of game, however, now every link to BPC programs I try leads to a page not
found message.

Have they moved? If the game is on Phil's list, I guess that it is stil
available?

Next up in the line up of lost games, are the games produced by Code Factory,
Private detective School, Time adventures, alien invasion and (probably least
interesting to me but stil something worth trying), Km 200.

The Code factory site has demos of some of the games, which I've played, but
there seems to be absolutely no information on the site about how to order the
full game, or how much they cost. Obviously this info must be somewhere for it
to appear on Phil's list. I'm sorry if i'm being incredibly obtuse here.

If anyone can help me with either of these problems, I'd be much obliged.

All the best,

Dark.

In Grizzly Gulch, talk to the other brothers in the saloon after you talk to
Cletus. One of them will give you a hint. Take that hint to the bank, then
return to the saloon and give what you got from the bank to Cletus.
As for Chillingham, you can't get the organ lady away from the organ until
you complete the professor's bung quest. You should get a dog whistle from
him at one point. go to the library and examine the books until you get he
rain dancing book. Then goto the swamp and use the rain dancing book with
the dog whistle. Catch the frog that appears and use the stinky potion the
professor gave you. Take the resulting mutant frog and use it on the organ
lady to get her to leave.
It ain't pretty when the pretty leaves you with no place to go.

It's not worth it. There's absolutely no replay value whatsoever. The only
replay value in grizly is the gambling games

[Audyssey] Bavisoft things

2006-11-19 Thread shaun everiss
Hi all.
Over the last few days I borrowed chillingham and grizly gulch from somewhere.
I looked at the price for the cds, both games look really good.
However I couldn't complete them without cheating so killed them.
I looked at the price, they cost a load but not as much as I ghought if I get
them both at the same time.
I really need walkthroughs for these.
in chillingham for example I do not know how to get the church lady to get away
from the organ or the librarian to get my book.
I also in gg do not know how to get the gun off cletus or to ask a favor from
the banker.
I don't mind if the games don't have much replay value as I mostly listen to
audio things.
Its a pitty I had to borrow them to find they were worth my while.
Demos would have been realy good not to mention more legal.

Looks like the price is not as bad as I thought and I will buy them.
However walkthroughs and loads of them audio and text to both these would rock.
All the hard bits.
I origionally was not going to buy the games because they were like 80 if I put
the 40 dollar thing together, but 63 us or 126nz aint that bad, its what we
play for a top notch game here so I do not mind.
I was planning to buy something anyway.
I like the controls of these games.
However I can see if you really play these things a load they can get anoying.
Once I get these I'd like to do a walkthrough but I firstly need some solutions
to a few problems.
Thanks.

Re: [Audyssey] test things

2006-11-19 Thread shaun everiss
I wander what has happened to igor.
Firstly I lossed the message he sent me on the game because well I killed it
and was getting other stuff and the download was to slow.
I posted heaps to him and the list but no link, i then got scared I was
spamming so wrote a letter asking.
No one on list had the link and I was worried that things were not as there
seemed.
shane, do you however have the link to the latest supersport package?
if you could send it to me I'd really appreciate it.
my funny bowling is not registered.
I wander who else I can contact, sky tailer who I know is a tester is not
around either.
So I wander whats happened.
Igor is usually fast.
I just hope he hasn't died or something drastic like that.
In the middle of a test.
Oh dear
oh and this msg is going to your shaned.net address now instead of the gamers
one.
I'm happy though I am not the only one.

Hi all.
In responce to the emergency msg I put out 2 days ago, Its confirmed igor is
offline, so is his reg server.
Thanks to those that gave me the game download which I will now have until
something happens.
But if the reg server is down then no game at all.

I didn't know there was a self-voicing version of the trucker game.
It ain't pretty when the pretty leaves you with no place to go.

[Audyssey] truck

2006-11-19 Thread david
Hi. I went to Jim Kitchen's website, and was looking for the self-voicing
version of trucker, and it isn't there. I know that there's the sapi version,
but I want the stand alone version. Could someone write off-list and send it to
me? Thanks.
