[Goanet] VASCO NEEDS A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER
VASCO NEEDS A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER The state of affairs in Vasco is pathetic and seriously needs urgent attention right from sanitation to roads, fish markets, hospital, vegetable market, fishing jetty etc. Our present MLA Philip who has held this bastion for a decade has done no good for the people of Vasco. In fact has only promoted gudda raj, drug trafficking, corruption, coal handling at port, illegal construction and family raj to add to it no development at all in the port town of Vasco. I am an NRI and I come down every six months in Vasco and the moment I land at the airport and right through my stay in the city I can literally see that there is no development at all and Vasco is going in ruins day by day. Its high time that the people of Vasco think wisely and vote for a change. Vote for a better candidate, be it any National party. I feel sorry for the states of affairs in Vasco and request all citizens to act and vote wisely for a better tomorrow before it is too late. [Goanet] VASCO HEAVEN FOR DRUG TRAFFICKERS
VASCO HEAVEN FOR DRUG TRAFFICKERS Be carefull!! it may so happen that one fine morning you get to know that your child has fallen prey to drugs. Today the state of affairs in the port town has been a total dismay, due to the blessing from the Politicians and government officials. One can notice that school and college going girls and boys of the port town have fallen prey to this vice. There are many drug dens in Vasco, but the latest hot place which has seen a very high traffic of drug trafficking is at the dead end road in Mangor hill, Vasco near Aristocrat apartment. Come evening and there a bikes zooming down to this place as it looks like a honey comb. Girls and boys from good families flock down to have their share in the party. The residents of that area are terrified and don’t even come out in the evening due to fear. For sure the Vasco police are well aware of what’s happening, but are giving a deaf ear to this. Today, the root causes of most of the crimes in the port town are related to drugs. I would request the local MLA, politicians and government officials to take this issue very seriously and put a zero tolerance stance on drugs trafficking or elves it will be too late till Vasco turn to be a drug trafficking hub of Goa. Lots of things are yet to be revealed. What was the motive behind the murder.Who are the other culprits involved. In the last press report released the Goa Police said that ""the police are yet to establish the motive behing the murder" As per the Police the culprit Snehal has already confessed the crime and what is stopping the Police from revealing the motive behind this murder. For sure if the culprit has acknowleged the murder during the interogation and then he must have also revealed the motive of this murder. Is the Goa Police trying to subside this case due to some political pressure. Goa Police we need an answer and dont think that the people of Goa have forgotten this case. Thanking you. Dourado was working as an executive for Idea mobile company in Margao. Mormugao DySP Mahesh Gaonker informed that while two stab wounds were found on his abdomen, police recovered a knife embedded in his neck. Gaonker also informed that the incident could have taken place between 3:30am to 8:30am, as Dourado's cousin Sherman Nuniz informed police that the victim messaged him on Monday till 3:30am. Police also revealed that a new grey coloured Chevrolet Spark car bearing registration no GA 06 D 4306, a laptop and a mobile phone belonging to the victim went missing after the incident. [Goanet] Justice should prevail in the brutal murder of Vasco lad Naresh Dourado
Dear Sir/Madam, Please can you publish my letter in your esteemed media. Sincerely,Ricky Fernandes Subject: Justice should prevail in the brutal murder of Vasco lad Naresh Dourado A week has passed by after the brutal murder of the Vasco lad Naresh Dourado and we are yet to hear of any substantial result in the investigations from the Goa Police. Goa Police should not to leave any stones unturned and to nab the culprits involved in this incident. We cannot ignore this incident like any other incidents that occur in Goa. The people of Goa need to know why this lad from Vasco was murdered in such a brutal way. This is a matter of serious concern to the citizens of Goa knowing that there is no security to life, in the once called Goan Paradise. This is a prime opportunity for the Goa Police to re-instill their lost faith in the people of Goa. If needed the Goa Police should take help from other state police department to help them in the findings. We the people of Goa strongly believe and hope that justice will prevail in this case. Yours Sincerely, Ricky Fernandes Goa.
