Re: [hlds_linux] Re: hlds_linux digest, Vol 1 #5742 - 3 msgs
Memtest is downloaded and burned on a cd-rom - http://www.memtest.org/ - download and burn a cd-rom - start your server with this cd and it will run memory checks ! - A great tool ! if you dont get any errors - then its no problems with your memory cards ! The Voltage is displayed in your bios ! Good Luck ! RE: [hlds_linux] Linux Dedicated Server Delayed
> Better get WINE fired up, then... Might not be the best idea ever.. :p Shame to hear this, but in fairness it's not the end of the world. I can wait to get my server up. Linux dedi should been pri #1 though - the number gap between Windows servers for Source games and Linux servers is _immense_ (massive understatement time, sorry). I'm hoping that Valve already know this and it really is just a case of last minute problems and not some internal politics. Anyways, good luck with the releases guys, even if the client already is obviously broken ;) ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
