Re: SV: SV: [hlds_linux] Server not showing up in master list

2003-09-16 Thread Daniel Stroven
I used halfd and any of my non-metamod servers show up fine in the server
list. I just noticed today after installing metamod on the servers last
night and amxmod, that the servers are now not showing, while the servers I
have not installed metamod/amx mod are showing up.

metamod/amxmod
one of them the culprit i believe.

SV: SV: SV: [hlds_linux] Server not showing up in master list

2003-09-16 Thread KnowHow
Hi okay

I've played around with it.

And it seems that doing as Olo said, adding the map twice is not good.

-TOS is not good

Also, running a server slash router slash firewall, you cannot get it
use the internal IP(though it worked before 1.5 as I have port
forwarding)

I'm not sure what else I've changed, but I've put those back in at it
borked, so I hope it helps.

Oh, and also I added +ip and +port as the two first things in my server
args.

what did you set sv_region to, and what's the region you put in the

SV: [hlds_linux] Server not showing up in master list

2003-09-14 Thread KnowHow
Well, no matter how much I restart my server I'm still not showing up

I tried changing map to de_celtic and search for that, and I didn't show
up.

I have to nics in my server, I have tried both to no avail.

Anyone else experienced this?

No wonder my server is almost empty

Restart your server and it should show up again.

Here is the list of region numbers:
0: US East coast
1: US West coast
2: South America
3: Europe
4: Asia
5: Australia
6: Middle East
7: Africa

What do you set sv_region to if it is located in London, UK?

Almost, sv_region 255 is the Moon.

You'll get this automagically set as an indicator of the current steam
network status has been blown off the planet.

I'm currently investigating setting up operations on Mars (sv_region 666).

[hlds_linux] Server not showing up in master list

2003-09-12 Thread Invader Zim
When I installed and started 1.1.2.0 the server all was well. When I
installed the new steam client I could see my server when using the server
browser, so all was still well. Some 12 hours later, my server has
disappeared from the server list. It's gone. I cannot find it. Can anyone
shed some light on this?

And while we're on the subject of shedding light, to what do I have to set
sv_region for Europe? And where would this be documented?
